Welcome to Task Force 86
In a volatile area of space bordered by the Klingon's, Romulan's and the Federation itself - merely a stones throw away from the warmongering Gorn Hegemony, adding to the potential turmoil - Task Force 86, codenamed TRIDENT, stands ready to mount tactical, scientific, and clandestine operations within either enemy or neutral territory in order to oversee the safety of the Federation and the continued, though tenuous, stability of the entire region.
Currently commanded by Rear Admiral Ethan Baker and Commodore Beverly DeVuor, each member becomes part of the critical units of this team which make up the great trident, split into three prongs, or Task Groups, driven forward by the central command shaft that is Independents. These brave vessels, groups and crews seek additional brave, gifted and loyal individuals to bring the peace that this area so desperately needs after the events of the Dominion War and Star Trek: Nemesis.
